Anyone know when Rotorua Rascals going to be named? None of the following teams have been named yet, whilst the home team has only named its captain so far. TEAMS YET TO BE ANNOUNCED: Kihikihi Kings Baypark Bulldogs Rotorua Rascals Gisborne Gladiators Palmerston Pumas Manawatu Steelers Nelson Tasman Thunder Eastern States Titans Greymouth Grizzlies Central Coyotes Southland Spartans Only one team per track as this is an SNZ Allocated title, even though the hosting of it is won and not strictly "allocated". Therefore they'll be no Manawatu Steelers, for example. Only the Palmy Pumas. Barry B |

What a Pity NO Canterbury Crushers Team this year. If they had entered & WON the Stockcar Teams Champs, what a Great Club Christchurch would/could have been?? All we need is for Mark Osbourne or another Christchurch Registered Supersaloon Car to Win the New Zealand at Dunedin & what a Spectacle that would cause !!

Would be nice to see what teams have committed to this meeting, even if the the drivers aren't named yet. It is only a week away. I take it entries have closed?
Have had a quick look on the website and there is very little activity on the website since an announcement of the cancellation of the NZ Superstock champs.
A 7pm start will mean a late night. Even a 4 hour meeting will mean a 11pm finish, plus the usual traffic issues leaving the venue may make it one of those meets I chose to stream.

I know it is none of my business, but I don't like seeing drivers in the stockcar teams 2 weeks after racing in the Superstock teams. Six over the three teams named. The potential for a serious injury is increased exponentially and (please don't hate me fellow Wellingtonians) but I would rather see the Young Guns lose every race, than see them win the championship at the cost of a serious injury to Brendon, Ethan or Keegan. how does losing every race stop the chance of serious injury? |
