Waikato have swapped out Shrubb for philpot. A backwards step when you consider philpot is only just coming back from a broken pelvis and Shrubb has been on form this season.

The draw will be live on Kokpit Racing and Media Facebook site Wednesday with Red Wootton. Booker & Kinser together with Jase Gutteridge at the Pits TV are looking at puting together a Telethon to raise funds for disaster relief in Hawkes Bay & Gisborne victims. Terrific idea, Thank you very much for your kind donation, thank you very much.............

The crushers are all loaded up and on route to huntly. My dark horses for the win I would think they’d be favourites to go top 4 rather than a dark horse. How many times South Island teams champs, 5 top cars 6 top drivers. I’d say anything less than top 4 would be considered coming up short of their potential.

What's the only thing worse than only one ferry running inter island? That one ferry being the Ara-Scary.

It won't be 'RIGGED' like the P-North event. PN is NOT rigged, it is a live draw. If PN is rigged then so is this one, this event has more beneficial of that the title holder NEEDS to retain it to be able to host it! They need to have all the aces for thier team

from what I have heard is the Crushers team, (don't know if this is the same for Otago) is that the cars/transporters are going over as freight on the freight only boats and all personal, i:e drivers, pit crew ect, are flying to Auckland and driving down, so this does not effect them.

Let's hope they remember to leave enough drivers behind for the tow vehicles when they get to the other side then Seriously though, I hope there is an answer that still sees both South Island teams joining the rest at Huntly this weekend. I don’t know why the southern teams didn’t send their cars last week and have somewhere north of the straight babysit them for a week. Would’ve saved all this drama. I’m sure there’s plenty of speedway folk with yard space to take a car or two, huntly may have even let them be stored in the pits.
