On behalf of Ross and the stockcar94b crew we pass on our deepest sympathies to his families and friends. Peter was the ultimate competitor - and for someone to earn the respect of drivers and fans alike in such a short time speaks volumes of this man. As others have said he earned it the way a stockcar driver should - with his bumper! As the pics show Pete hits hard and Ross always said you dont go around the outside of Peter. After one such attempt and being shown the wall the first person to the car after the race asking if Ross was okay and if we needed anything was Peter....He will be a huge loss to speedway (especially Meeanee) but we have all been better off for seeing this man race....

There is nothing that i can say that hasnt been said already. I got to know Peter when he was my partner at a best pairs meeting at easter in Meeanee. Typical of Peter he couldnt make the second night because as usual he hit everything that moved ;D On the second night he sent his apologies for letting me down, didnt matter in the end as i had 3 dnfs anyway. I will never forget how he stood his stockcar on its end pointing to the sky after commenting to him about it we had a good laugh.
R.I.P Peter A true entertainer taken from us way too early

R.I.P Peter! You would have loved the moment silcence in Rotorua at M.I.P, the cows even moo'd and showed there appreciation for your farmer side, and having all the HB cars out in front of grand parade for your speedway side. Thanks for the memories! as a song goes.... "There goes my hero"
Thanks Stu Russell and team 61p Superstock
